The heart behind Cypress Fork

My name is Grant Quincey. I am a generational Floridian, born and raised in Chiefland, Florida. For all 23 years of my life, I could be found wandering the woods and waters every chance I got. That wandering eventually turned into poling a canoe deep through the creeks of Horseshoe Beach in pursuit of redfish.

What began as exploration as a young kid quickly grew into an incredible obsession with learning the area and pursuing these fish as often as possible. Even then, my true passion remained somewhat of a mystery, and guiding was nothing more than a distant dream. That changed in April 2025, when God and I decided it was time to pursue my passion for fishing and become a guide.

The transition from everyday life to a career in fishing felt natural and came with far more blessings than I deserve. In my first year of business, I have been blessed to share this special place and these unforgettable experiences with people from all walks of life, all of whom have one thing in common: A Love For THE FISH!
